Explore the impact of the “FOOD Quality in Digital Age” project – read the stories of the participants of our study visits!

Over the course of the „FOOD Quality in Digital Age” project we organized five impactful study visits in collaboration with our partner institutions in Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia and Poland. These visits brought together researchers, PhD students and professionals from across Central Europe to explore cutting-edge advancements in food technology, strengthen international collaborations and share knowledge.

Participants had the unique opportunity to engage with innovative technologies such as 3D food printing, electronic nose and eye devices and advanced rheological tools. They attended hands-on workshops, academic conferences and field visits to industry stakeholders, gaining invaluable insights into the digital transformation of food quality assessment.

But these visits weren’t just about technology and learning – they also fostered lasting professional connections and cross-cultural friendships. From bustling university labs to vibrant cultural experiences, every visit offered a mix of education, inspiration and meaningful human connections.

We’ve compiled a collection of testimonials from our participants, where they share their personal reflections on the professional growth, collaborative spirit, and unforgettable memories from each visit.
