On November 19th, Prof. Igor Tomašević, PhD from the University in Belgrade, Faculty of Agriculture – Belgrade, Serbia took part in the Scientific and Industry Conference entitled „Research network of natural science universities for the development of the Polish dairy sector – research project”, where he gave an on-line lecture on the „Dairy market in the Balkan countries. The use of computer vision system (CVS) for assessing the quality of food products as part of the project ‘FOOD Quality in Digital Age’”.
The event gathered more than 250 participants from the dairy sector in Poland: representants of business, academia as well as regional and national authorities.
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
