SLOVAK UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE IN NITRA, SLOVAKIA

The Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) in Nitra is the centre of agricultural education, science and research in Slovakia with an emphasis on the production of healthy and safe food, environmental protection, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. The University has a wide experience in implementing international projects within educational (Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Jean Monnet, CEEPUS) and research programmes (6th and 7th Framework Programmes, COST, EU Tenders, Horizon 2020). SUA is also a member of Visegrad University Association. SUA has long been dedicated to the use of innovative technologies in the production process as well as food analysis. Its proficiency in the methodology of electronic eye in the quality food evaluation has been confirmed by numerous, widely-acclaimed publications and complements the expertise of this project consortium.

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
