Training opportunity for two PhD students from the Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic: complementary recruitment!

“FOOD Quality in Digital Age” Project Consortium kindly invites PhD students of the Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic) to submit their application to the international training on digital food quality evaluation methods! The training will be a great opportunity to learn about the innovative food quality evaluation methods, exchange knowledge and establish valuable interpersonal links. The training includes two modules, each taught by one Partner University, expert in the field, during a study visit:

  1. Methodology of electronic eye (March, 19 th – 22 nd , 2024, Slovak University of
    Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia)
  2. Surface analysis and textural/rheological properties of food product
    (April, 23 rd – 26 th , 2024, University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland).

The travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses will be covered by the Project.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Applications will be evaluated by the “FOOD Quality in Digital Age” Project Consortium based on the following criteria: application completeness; candidate`s previous research activity, scientific achievements, interests and motivation. Preference will be given to candidates who will confirm their availability to take part in all 2 modules of the trainings.

The Project Consortium will invite 2 PhD students from the Mendel University in Brno
to take part in the training. A reserve list will be created. The selected candidates will be informed at in mid-February.
