Discover the Outcomes of Our Participation in the 3rd International PhD Students’ Conference and Workshops in Poland!
As part of our 5th study visit to the University of Life Science in Lublin, Poland, the „FOOD Quality in Digital Age” network participated in the 3rd International PhD Students’ Conference: Environment-Plant-Animal-Product. This event provided a platform for our PhD students to showcase their innovative research and engage with peers and experts from various fields.
We are delighted to invite you to explore the results of our participation, including:
- Three engaging research posters prepared by our PhD students, highlighting their groundbreaking work on food quality, sustainability and innovation:
- (Bio)polymeric particles for agents’ encapsulation to achieve active systems for various applications
- Sea buckthorn co-products as a potential natural antioxidant in raw-cooked meat product
- Determination of fat and fatty acids profile in coffee pulp Coffea arabica
- Four insightful abstracts from oral presentations delivered by our talented students, which delve into current challenges and solutions in food science and technology:
- Comparison of multiple NIR instruments and machine learning algorithms for the detection of nitrogen-based adulteration in protein powders
- Color coordinates of dried apple pomace and apple pomace cookies
- Sterilized canned lamb with non-standard starch as a fat replacement – comparison of properties during storage
- Qualitative parameters of mealworm larvae (Tenebrio molitor) at different processing conditions
These contributions reflect the commitment and expertise of our project’s young researchers in addressing key issues within the digital transformation of food quality.
